Chocolat Quilt in progress

Foreground of flying geese patchwork blocks with a vintage Singer 99K in the background with pieces under the needle being sewn together.

Further to my last post, I have been making a bunch of flying geese units from the Moda 'Chocolat' fat quarter pack I found amongst my old quilt stash. I plan to join the short edges in horizontal rows. The rows will have an HST alternating on each end. This will offset the flying geese and give a sort of diamond pattern.

Patchwork flying geese units offset to form a secondary diamond pattern.

Here is a little sneak peek of what the quilt will look like. The red, brown and blue have been dispersed as evenly as I could throughout the rows. I have also tried to not place two matching background fabrics side-by-side.
