Stash Enhancement

More correctly, this should be titled stash acquisition. I was a quilter for 10 years, then had a sabbatical from quilting. In the meantime, I downsized my life drastically and moved most of my fabric stash on to other lovely quilters. Not that I had much stash to begin with as I prefer to keep things to a minimum.

Fat quarters of quilting fabrics are arranged in groups of neutral and rainbow colours

Previously I have made a lot of traditional quilts in a fairly murky and dusty palette. I have a whole new appreciation for modern quilts and clean colours and wanted to build up a curated stash so that I can experiment for a little while. I actually get a little overwhelmed when I am in a store and have a lot of choices. I also live in a regional area without access to amazing quilt stores close by. I was happy to purchase these bundles from Jeanette at Polka Dot Tea fabrics, which is actually relatively local, but still about 100 km away.

I am so happy with this bundle and need to now get over my analysis paralysis and have some fun making stuff. Because that's what it's all about.

Fun!
