20 Year Anniversary Quilt
Did you know that one hot day back in 2004, my first longarm machine was delivered? I practiced and practiced and when I was ready, I took my first customer quilt. I have lost count of the number of quilts that I have done over the years. However, the people I have to thank for keeping me in business over the years are my lovely clients.
I am always awed by the interactions I have with my clients. We connect. We talk. We make decisions. We bond. I feel like I am so honoured to be trusted with your quilts. I take them and turn them into squishy, cuddly, or, sometimes just for show, quilts. They all have you in them and they all have a part of me in them too.
To show my gratitude, I have made a lovely cuddle quilt to gift to one lucky client. If it was feasible, I would make everyone a quilt. However, there is just one, and this is it.
I have pieced and quilted this lovely Bear Camp Quilt (pattern by Prairie Quilt Co - I purchased the pattern, it’s not sponsored) using Devonstone Solids and quilted with the Essex edge-to-edge. It measures approx 60” x 60”.
I am going to give this very quilt to one of my lucky customers at the end of 2024. For every quilt that has edge-to-edge quilting by me from January 1 until December 31 2024, I will write your name on a spreadsheet. At the end of the year, I will randomly select a recipient for this lovely quilt. Simple! If you have already had a quilt done, you are already on the list.
